Megan is a masters level psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges and transitions. Her early clinical work focused on supporting college-aged students as they coped with academic pressures, major life changes, and the everyday anxieties that can accompany young adulthood. She also developed an interest in sports psychology, helping athletes address performance-related concerns and the mental demands of competition.
Throughout her career, Megan has moved into work with the adult population experiencing depression, trauma, grief, emotional regulation difficulties, and anxiety. She has a particular passion for helping individuals who have had negative experiences with therapists in the past.
Megan's therapeutic foundation is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but she incorporates a variety of evidence-based approaches to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs and goals. She is committed to creating a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel understood and empowered to make meaningful changes. Through a personalized approach, Megan helps clients build resilience, develop effective coping strategies, and work toward lasting emotional well-being.
